Apple Cider Maple Fizz
Traditional cocktails, such as a dirty martini or a basic margarita have always been my favorite, however, creative seasonal drinks come in a close second. As someone who isn’t a bourbon drinker, I find this Apple Cider Maple Fizz to be absolutely delicious. It truly tastes like fall in a glass.
This cocktail will compliment your weekend gatherings or seasonal parties. Toasting friends with a maple fizz and reflecting on all you have to be Thankful for will create sweet shared memories.
How Much Bourbon to Use
I myself am not much of a bourbon drinker, however, my husband enjoys the various kinds and unique flavors the aged beverage has to offer. I prefer a little less in my drink, whereas he prefers a tad more. The recipe below is slightly in the middle of a light splash of bourbon, and a good amount. It’s up to you how much or how little you’d like to add.
Ingredients
- 2 cups Apple Cider
- 1 cup Bourbon
- 2 tablespoons Maple Syrup
- 4 tablespoons Ginger Beer
Instructions
- Stir the apple cider, bourbon, and maple syrup together in a cocktail pitcher. Pour over ice in a high ball glass.
- Add a splash of ginger beer to each glass and garnish with cinnamon sticks and apple slices if desired.
