Equipment

  • 1 Wire Whisk
  • 1 Medium Mixing Bowl
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Sweet Chili Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Rice Vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sriracha Sauce

Instructions

  • Place the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, rice vinegar, and sriracha sauce in a medium-sized mixing bowl and whisk together using a wire whisk until smooth and combined.

Notes

  • If your sauce is too thick then you can thin it out with some fresh-squeezed lime juice or even water. Carefully add 1 teaspoon at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
  • To make a sweeter sauce whisk in 2 teaspoons of honey. This will not cut down on the spice though. To make the sauce seem less spicy squeeze in a little lemon juice, which surprisingly cuts down on the heat.
  • For a dairy-free version of this sauce, you can use vegan mayonnaise or even dairy-free plain Greek yogurt.
  • Make this sauce keto-friendly by swapping the sweet chili sauce for unsweetened garlic chili sauce.

Storage Information

Place this sauce or any leftover sauce in an air-tight container in the fridge. It will last for 2 weeks to a month. Check the date of your mayonnaise to determine how long it will last.
I like to make a big batch of this sauce to use in multiple different recipes and when I do I keep it sealed in a half-pint jar with a lid. You can write the "best by" date directly on the lid so you know when it will go bad.
