This delicious dessert is bursting with a steaming sweet blueberry filling and a pillowy soft crust that surrounds the entire dish. You only need five main ingredients that are probably already in your pantry to make this Easy Blueberry Cobbler.

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 1 cup Self-Rising Flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Whole Milk
  • 21 ounces Blueberry Pie Filling

FLAVOR ADDITIONS

  • 1 pint Blueberries optional
  • 2 teaspoons Sanding Sugar optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375℉. Slice the butter and place on the bottom of an 8x8 or 9x9 baking dish and set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl whisk the flour, sugar, and whole milk together until smooth. Pour into the prepared baking dish.
  • In a separate small bowl stir the pie filling with the fresh fruit if using. If you're not adding in fresh fruit then move on to the next step.
  • Scoop the pie filling (and fresh fruit if using) out and drop on top of the wet mixture. Using a butter knife gently swirl the ingredients together, being careful not to over mix. Sprinkle the top of the cobbler with sanding sugar if using.
  • Bake in the oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until the crust begins to turn a golden brown and the filling begins to bubble. Let sit about 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

I highly recommend serving this with a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream.
