- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 quart Water
- 3 Bay Leaves
Place the salt and brown sugar into a large pot or Dutch oven and mix to combine.
Add half of the water and the bay leaves to the pot and bring it to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring until the sugar and salt have dissolved.
Allow the mixture to cool and pour in the remaining water. Stir to combine.
