Ingredients

  • 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1/4 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

Instructions

  • Add the ingredients to a mixing bowl. Add the heavy cream, making sure it’s cold, cinnamon, vanilla, and powdered sugar to the bowl of an electric mixer.
  • Whip the mixture. Using a handheld or stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment, start whipping the cream at low speed. Slowly increase the mixer to medium-high speed and continue whipping until the cream thickens and forms stiff peaks, which typically takes a few minutes. Exercise caution to avoid over-whipping, as this can lead to an undesirable grainy texture.

Notes

  • Use cold whipping cream. Make sure that the heavy whipping cream is kept cold. Chilling the cream facilitates better whipping and contributes to a smoother, more velvety texture.
  • Sift in the powdered sugar. In order to avoid clumps in your whipped cream sift the powdered sugar into the mixing bowl before mixing it in.
  • Start by whipping at a moderate speed. Start the whipping process on a low-speed setting and then gradually elevate it to medium-high as the cream begins to thicken. Refrain from starting at high speed right away, as this may result in over-whipping and an undesired grainy texture.
  • Don't overwhip. It's important to avoid over-whipping the cream, as this can lead to a grainy texture. Stop whipping as soon as stiff peaks form.
