- 3 to 4 lb Turkey Breast
- 1 head Garlic
- 1 large Onion
Turkey Rub
- 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Salt
- 2 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon Thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon Oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
Prepare the rub. In a small mixing bowl combine the brown sugar, paprika, thyme, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and olive oil. It will be a thick paste-like consistency.
Cover the turkey breast. Spread the rub evenly over the turkey breast making sure to coat all sides.
Arrange the ingredients. Roughly chop the onion and slice the top off the garlic bulb. Place the bulb top down in the bottom of the slow cooker and spread the onion pieces around it. Sit the turkey breast on top.
Cook. Set the slow cooker, or Crockpot, to low (not high, which will dry the turkey breast out) and cook for 4 to 5 hours. Check the temperature at 4 hours to see if it has reached 165º F.
