Ingredients

  • 2 - 3 Red Apples
  • 1 Orange sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 bottle Red Wine
  • 1/2 cup Brandy
  • cup Apple Cider
  • 1 Lemon juiced

Instructions

  • Marinate the fruit. Place the sliced apples and oranges into the bottom of a large pitcher and sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon on top. Allow the flavors to sit and marinate for 20 minutes before moving on to the next step.
  • Prepare the sangria. Add the red wine, brandy, apple cider, lemon juice, and cinnamon sticks to the pitcher and stir the mixture together. Let it sit in the refrigerator for 6 to 24 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Coat the glass rim. For added flavor and a nice presentation coat the rim of your glass in water and then dredge it into cinnamon sugar.
  • Top it off with club soda. Enhance the sangria's flavor profile by incorporating a splash of club soda. Its unsweetened effervescence pairs wonderfully with the sangria, adding a delightful fizzy dimension to the drink.
  • Ice: You're welcome to add ice to your sangria glasses for a cool touch. Just avoid putting ice directly into the pitcher, as it can dilute the sangria's robust flavors, and that's definitely not what we're aiming for!
