- 2 - 3 Red Apples
- 1 Orange sliced
- 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 bottle Red Wine
- 1/2 cup Brandy
- 1¾ cup Apple Cider
- 1 Lemon juiced
Marinate the fruit. Place the sliced apples and oranges into the bottom of a large pitcher and sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon on top. Allow the flavors to sit and marinate for 20 minutes before moving on to the next step.
Prepare the sangria. Add the red wine, brandy, apple cider, lemon juice, and cinnamon sticks to the pitcher and stir the mixture together. Let it sit in the refrigerator for 6 to 24 hours before serving.
- Coat the glass rim. For added flavor and a nice presentation coat the rim of your glass in water and then dredge it into cinnamon sugar.
- Top it off with club soda. Enhance the sangria's flavor profile by incorporating a splash of club soda. Its unsweetened effervescence pairs wonderfully with the sangria, adding a delightful fizzy dimension to the drink.
- Ice: You're welcome to add ice to your sangria glasses for a cool touch. Just avoid putting ice directly into the pitcher, as it can dilute the sangria's robust flavors, and that's definitely not what we're aiming for!
