Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Vodka
  • 1 ounce Chambord
  • 1/2 ounce Cranberry Juice
  • 2 drops Red Food Coloring
  • 2 drops Blue Food Coloring
  • 1 drop Green Food Coloring
  • 1-2 ounces Ginger Beer or lemon-lime soda

Instructions

  • Mix the spirits. Pour vodka, Chambord, Cranberry Juice, and food coloring into your cocktail shaker, then generously fill it halfway with ice.
  • Shake and strain. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds and strain the cocktail into a chilled martini glass.
  • Add soda. Pour ginger beer or lemon-lime soda on top of the cocktail and garnish with a blackberry or orange peel.

Notes

Recipe Variations

  • Use activated charcoal. Instead of using food coloring you can use activated charcoal like I do in my Black Margarita and Black Mojito. It won't alter the flavor and turns the drink an inky black.
  • Black Vodka. There are several brands of black vodka you can use instead of the food coloring, which will result in the same dark coloring.
