- 2 ounces Vodka
- 1 ounce Chambord
- 1/2 ounce Cranberry Juice
- 2 drops Red Food Coloring
- 2 drops Blue Food Coloring
- 1 drop Green Food Coloring
- 1-2 ounces Ginger Beer or lemon-lime soda
Mix the spirits. Pour vodka, Chambord, Cranberry Juice, and food coloring into your cocktail shaker, then generously fill it halfway with ice.
Shake and strain. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds and strain the cocktail into a chilled martini glass.
Add soda. Pour ginger beer or lemon-lime soda on top of the cocktail and garnish with a blackberry or orange peel.
Recipe Variations
- Use activated charcoal. Instead of using food coloring you can use activated charcoal like I do in my Black Margarita and Black Mojito. It won't alter the flavor and turns the drink an inky black.
- Black Vodka. There are several brands of black vodka you can use instead of the food coloring, which will result in the same dark coloring.
