Ingredients

  • cups Fresh Cranberries or dried
  • 4 - 5 slices Dried Oranges
  • 3 - 4 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 2 sprigs Rosemary or pine
  • 1 Vanilla Bean halved and split
  • 2 Star Anise
  • 1 tablespoon Cardamom Seeds
  • 2 teaspoons Whole Cloves

Instructions

  • Arrange the ingredients. If using place the label on your bag first. Then fill your bag with the cranberries. Top with the cinnamon sticks and dried orange slices. Add the cardamom seeds, whole cloves, vanilla bean, star anise, and rosemary sprigs.
  • Add the string. Tie the string around the bag to seal it.
  • To use. Pour the Christmas potpourri contents into a large pot and fill it 3/4 of the way full with water.
  • Heat. Place the pot over low heat on your stovetop and let it simmer for as long as you want the scent to remain. Continue to add water as it cooks down.
