Ingredients Needed

Christmas potpourri ingredients and items needed.
  • Bags – To arrange your potpourri you can place it in cellophane bags or in a large mason jar with a lid.
  • String – If using bags I like to tie mine with baker’s twine for a festive touch.
  • Labels – Print these Christmas potpourri labels on label paper and stick them on the bags.
  • Spices – You will need cinnamon sticks, star anise, cardamom, whole cloves, half a vanilla bean, and rosemary or a sprig of pine. All of these can be found on the spice aisle in your grocery store.
  • Fruit – You have the option to use fresh or dried fruit. My preference is to use fresh cranberries and dried oranges. If using fresh fruit you’ll need to gift it 2 to 3 days after you prepare it.
