- 2 ounces Vodka
- 1 ounce Pineapple Juice
- ½ ounce Chambord
Prepare the glass and cocktail shaker. Chill a martini glass by placing it in the freezer for at least 10 minutes. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Add the vodka, pineapple juice, and Chambord to the cocktail shaker.
Shake vigorously. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds, until the shaker is frosty and cold to the touch. Strain the mixture into the chilled martini glass.
- If you don't have Chambord - Chambord is a raspberry liqueur that adds a sweet, fruity flavor to the cocktail. If you don't have Chambord, you can substitute it with another raspberry liqueur or even a berry-flavored syrup.
- To make it sweeter - If you prefer a sweeter drink, you can add a dash of Simple Syrup, Raspberry Syrup, or agave nectar to the cocktail shaker.
- Shake vigorously: Shaking the cocktail with plenty of ice is key to achieving the right texture and temperature. Be sure to shake the cocktail long enough to ensure that the ingredients are well combined and the cocktail is chilled.
- Experiment with garnishes: While the traditional garnish for a French Martini is a twist of lemon or raspberry, you can also try adding a slice of fresh pineapple or a sprig of fresh mint for a twist on the classic.
