Equipment

  • Champagne Flutes

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Raspberry Syrup
  • ½ ounce Lemon Juice
  • 4 ounces Champagne
  • Fresh Raspberries for garnish

Instructions

  • Mix the syrup and lemon juice. In a mixing glass or small bowl, add 2 tablespoons of raspberry syrup and 1/2 ounce of lemon juice. Stir the mixture with a long spoon until the raspberry syrup and lemon juice are well combined.
  • Layer the ingredients. Pour the syrup mixture into a chilled champagne flute. Slowly pour chilled champagne into the glass until it is full. Gently stir the cocktail with a spoon to combine the ingredients.

Notes

  • Make it ahead. If you're serving this drink at a party, you can pre-make the raspberry syrup and lemon juice mixture ahead of time. When your guests arrive, just pour the mixture into a cocktail shaker, add the champagne, and serve.
  • It can be made non-alcoholic. For a non-alcoholic version of this drink, you can substitute the champagne with club soda or sparkling water.
  • Make your own raspberry syrup. Using homemade raspberry syrup gives the cocktail a more vibrant flavor and it takes only minutes to prepare.
