Ingredients

  • ounces Melon Liqueur such as Midori
  • 1 ounce Sour Mix
  • 1/2 ounce Gin
  • 1/2 ounce Rum
  • 1/2 ounce Tequila
  • 1/2 ounce Triple Sec
  • 1/2 ounce Vodka
  • splash Soda Water

Instructions

  • Pour the ingredients into a cocktail mixing glass. In a cocktail glass or mixing glass add the gin, Midori, rum, tequila, triple sec, vodka, and Sour Mix.
  • Stir the ingredients. Stir to mix and pour it into a tall glass filled with ice.
  • Top it off with soda. Pour some soda water on top of the mixture and garnish with mint leaves.

Notes

  • You can change the melon liqueur. Midori is the most commonly used melon liqueur, especially in drinks such as The Japanese Slipper or the Scooby Snack Shot, however, you can explore other melon liqueur options as well. Experimenting with different brands can offer slight variations in taste, so feel free to choose one that suits your preferences.
  • Make your own Homemade Sour Mix: Consider making your own sour mix. This allows you to control the tartness and sweetness levels, resulting in a more customized and flavorful cocktail.
  • Get creative with your garnish. Enhance the visual appeal of your Tokyo Tea by garnishing it creatively. Lemon twists, lime wedges, cucumber ribbons, or even a sprig of fresh mint can add a vibrant touch to the presentation of the drink.
