- 2 ounces Tequila
- 1 ounce Cointreau
- 2 ounces Fresh Lime Juice
- 2 tablespoons Pumpkin Puree
- 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup
- 1 teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
- Cinnamon Sugar for coating the glass rim
Coat the glass rim. Grab a lime wedge and run it along the rim of your glass, using fresh, zesty juice.
Dredge the glass rim. Spread some cinnamon and sugar on a plate or flat surface. Then dip the lime-coated rim of the glass into the mixture, gently moving it back and forth while applying light pressure to ensure it sticks.
Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Add the ingredients to a cocktail shaker. Pour the tequila, Cointreau, fresh lime juice, Maple Syrup, Pumpkin Pie Spice, and pumpkin puree into a cocktail shaker and fill it halfway with ice. Shake and strain. Shake the mixture vigorously for about 10 seconds and strain it over ice into the prepared glass.
Use Pumpkin Syrup: some versions use Pumpkin Syrup instead of pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice. To do this use 2 to 3 tablespoons of the syrup instead.
