Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Tequila
  • 1 ounce Cointreau
  • 2 ounces Fresh Lime Juice
  • 2 tablespoons Pumpkin Puree
  • 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • Cinnamon Sugar for coating the glass rim

Instructions

  • Coat the glass rim. Grab a lime wedge and run it along the rim of your glass, using fresh, zesty juice.
  • Dredge the glass rim. Spread some cinnamon and sugar on a plate or flat surface. Then dip the lime-coated rim of the glass into the mixture, gently moving it back and forth while applying light pressure to ensure it sticks.
  • Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Add the ingredients to a cocktail shaker. Pour the tequila, Cointreau, fresh lime juice, Maple Syrup, Pumpkin Pie Spice, and pumpkin puree into a cocktail shaker and fill it halfway with ice.
  • Shake and strain. Shake the mixture vigorously for about 10 seconds and strain it over ice into the prepared glass.

Notes

Use Pumpkin Syrup: some versions use Pumpkin Syrup instead of pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice. To do this use 2 to 3 tablespoons of the syrup instead.
