Sweet Creamy Coleslaw Recipe
Sweet coleslaw screams summer barbeques and great times had by all. It’s one of those side dishes where you’re like “hmm, I don’t know if I like coleslaw,” but then you get it and your whole world is rocked because it’s literally THE BEST EVER.
This side salad is held together by mayonnaise and sugar friends! It’s the champion of summer sides, besides pasta salad, but I haven’t made that yet to actually post about… Are you even celebrating summer if you haven’t had coleslaw yet? I don’t know.
Sweet Coleslaw Ingredients
Now I get there are many variations of coleslaw likely dependant on where you live in the country (countries?) and here in the south and the part of the south I grew up in, we made ours sweet.
Just like everything else here we put sum suga on it, well, maybe a little more than some. Here we have 5 ingredients and can whip this up in less than 5 minutes
How to Make Sweet Coleslaw
There are just a few ingredients in this delicious sweet slaw recipe, which makes a large batch perfect for gatherings or backyard barbecues. The sweet coleslaw dressing, which is made up of mayonnaise, sugar, apple cider vinegar, and salt is what gives this side salad it’s flavor.
- Coleslaw Mix
- Mayonnaise
- Sugar
- Apple Cider Vinegar
- Salt
Whisk, whip, whatever all these ingredients together and you’re summer just got a whole lot tastier. Let me also just say there’s no reason for this slaw to be just a side either, cause I’m gonna layer some on my fish sandwiches I plan on making (and sharing eventually) tomorrow night. Tacos, burgers? Layer some on!
