Gingerbread Cheesecake Dip makes a decadent dessert dip that is light and fluffy and full of sweet flavor. With cream cheese and sugary base and cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger mixed in you won’t be able to resist this Christmas classic dip.
Gingerbread Cheesecake Dip
The flavor combination of gingerbread spices and molasses with that of cheesecake is so ultimately decadent you won’t be able to resist this dip. I can honestly say I took scoop after loving scoop of this dip just the other day.
Somehow I found myself in a role I swore I’d never take, which is that of room mom. The holidays are already infinitely crazy for mom’s and being a room mom takes it to another level of hot mess status. This year my daughter’s class is decorating gingerbread houses and needed them assembled. Since this job falls on me I rallied some of the other moms for help and promised drinks and snacks.
This gingerbread cheesecake dip felt like a true thank you for their much-appreciated help.

What to Serve with Gingerbread Cheesecake Dip
Below are some of my favorite crackers and cookies to serve alongside this dip. You can even use a combination of any of the below items.
- Pretzels – You will get a salty and sweet combination by dipping pretzels into this delicious dessert dip.
- Graham Crackers – these crackers are perfect for spreading this dip on. Try cinnamon or chocolate-flavored graham crackers for an extra sweet treat.
- Gingersnaps – these cookies have a gingerbread-like taste and complement this dip deliciously.
- Vanilla Wafers – wafers are sturdy and great for scooping up tons of dip in one swoop.
- Ritz Crackers – by using Ritz crackers you also get the salty-sweet combination with a little less crunch. Ritz crackers also have a slight sweetness that’s not overpowering.
How to Store Cheesecake Dip
Place the dip in an air-tight container and keep it stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. If you have leftovers and have already added the sprinkles just stir them into the mixture and add more if you plan on serving it again.
Can this dip be made ahead?
You can prepare this dip 4 days before you plan on serving it. Prepare it as directed but leave the sprinkles (if using) off. Just before serving it give the dip a good stir and then place it in the serving bowl and top it with sprinkles.
Can I use homemade whipped cream instead of cool whip?
Yes. If you’d like to swap the cool whip for whipped cream you can. You will need about 1 1/2 cups of whipped cream or 3/4 cup of heavy whipping cream to prepare your own homemade whipped cream.
