My Halloween Punch has become a popular staple at our annual Halloween Party with our guests. I knew I needed something similar for Thanksgiving other than my Pumpkin Pie Martini that’s non-alcoholic, and this punch is it.

Ingredients Needed

  • Orange Juice – Orange juice adds a refreshing citrusy note that contrasts with the richness of apple cider and the warmth of pumpkin pie spice.

  • Lemon Juice – You only need the juice of one lemon for this recipe, and I recommend using fresh for a smoother and pure flavor.
  • Pumpkin Pie Spice – Pumpkin Pie Spice serves to infuse the beverage with warm, aromatic notes reminiscent of the beloved fall dessert. If you don’t have any you can use a Pumpkin Pie Spice Substitute instead.

  1. Pour in the ingredients. Pour the apple cider, orange juice, ginger beer, and lemon juice into your punch bowl or pitcher.
  2. Add flavorings and toppings. Add the pumpkin pie spice as well as any toppings such as cinnamon sticks, star anise, or apple slices to the punch.
  3. Stir the punch. Stir the punch to mix the ingredients together. Since the spices tend to rise to the surface, be sure to give the punch a thorough stir just before serving. You also have the option to serve the punch chilled or hot.

Storage and Make-Ahead Information

  • To Store: If you have any leftover punch, it’s best to store it in the refrigerator. Transfer the punch to an airtight container or pitcher with a lid. If you’ve added ice cubes to the punch, try to remove them before storing it.
  • Make-Ahead: Prepare the punch as directed in the recipe and place it in an air-tight container with a lid. Stor it in the fridge until you plan to serve it. It can be made up to 2 days in advance.

Variations

  • Make it alcoholic. You can easily turn this into a fall sangria by adding wine or you can add 2 cups of vodka.
  • Add some pumpkin. Similar to Pumpkin Juice you can add some pumpkin puree, which blends in perfectly and results in a thicker punch.
  • Change up the spices. You can swap out the pumpkin pie spice for Apple Pie Spice or even Chai Spice Mix for alternate fall flavors.
